Commitment to Anti-Racism in Skateboarding

About Pushing Against Racism

As members of the global skateboarding community, we have come together to make a collective commitment to actively resist and challenge systemic racism in our own scenes, organizations, the skateboard industry, and wider society.

Pushing Against Racism is behind the Commitment to Anti-Racism in Skateboarding and the annual Pushing Against Racism (PAR) Fund.

PAR’s activities are managed by a Working Group which includes members from various skateboarding and non-profit organizations all around the world. The Goodpush Alliance is honored to coordinate the PAR Working Group and the Fund.
  • Launched on May 25, 2021, PAR aims to unite the global skateboarding community against racism
  • Educating and raising awareness about systemic racism in skateboarding
  • Providing resources and support to challenge racism and promote inclusion
Founded in 2023 by Skateistan, Free Movement (Greece), 7Hills (Jordan), Skate Nation (Sweden), and Drop In e.V. (Germany)
The Network is currently made up of 18 social skateboarding projects working in 16 countries
We share knowledge, co-create resources and provide seed funding and support through the Sibling Fund
