We’re excited to finally reveal the first shared measurement framework for the social skateboarding community!
In February 2024, a dozen organizations working across 15 countries connected to sketch out a big-picture plan for tracking the awesome impact of the social skateboarding movement worldwide.
Through some virtual brainstorming sessions co-facilitated by Skateistan and inFocus Consulting, we created a first draft for a global framework. We then shared this with the whole social skateboarding community, collecting input from 30 organizations in a feedback survey.
In total, 50 social skateboarding projects from all around the world contributed to the final result.
Introducing... the Goodpush Theory of Change
A Theory of Change (TOC) visually maps out the big picture of how the activities you do will create the change you want to see. A TOC shows how all the different pieces fit together to create positive change.
Visit our Goodpush TOC website to find out more about this exciting framework and how it will allow us to collect shared data and demonstrate the collective change that skateboarding initiatives are making worldwide for youth and marginalized communities.
We'd like to thank the following social skateboarding organizations for being a part of the Goodpush Theory of Change workshops, and/or contributing feedback to help develop the final framework:
